In the event of severe weather, the school will assess the situation and make a decision whether the school site is safe to open for students and staff.

The school has a robust plan that will be followed in this scenario; we will update parents/carers of any decision to close the school site by 7.00am on the day concerned. This decision will always prioritise the safety of our students and staff.
We will communicate promptly via the MCAS (My Child At School) app, Bromcom emails and our social media pages. Please ensure that your contact details are up to date in MCAS app so you receive timely notifications. Any updated information needs to be sent to Mrs A Carpenter via a.carpenter.scs@osborne.coop. 

In the event of a school closure, the expectation is that students access Teams and teachers will continue with timetabled lessons remotely. In the event Teams is not accessible for students, other online platforms can be accessed that are used by our students regularly, such as Sparx. 

Updates on reopening following any closure will be shared on the platforms outlined above.
